The Allen County Courthouse Preservation Trust is a 501(c)(3) established in 1994. The Trust oversaw the monumental task of restoring all the grand artistic elements of the aging courthouse. An outpouring of support came from the community, particularly from the local Bar Association. After eight years and $8.6 million, restoration was completed for the building’s centennial anniversary on September 23, 2002.
Today, the Trust serves as steward to preserve and maintain the grand building for generations to come.
