Yes you may schedule a tour of the Allen County Courthouse for your group by contacting the office. Groups of 5 or more may be scheduled Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. A $2.00 per person donation is suggested.
A trained docent will interpret the artwork and describe the history and preservation of this National Historic Landmark. Tours take approximately 1 hour.
We recommend that children be in at least 4th grade and that the group be no larger than 30 people. We are able to provide more than one docent, if multiple classrooms or large organizations wish to tour at the same time.
Yes, you may make special arrangements through the Trust to set up security and a docent for your private group. Security and rental fees apply.
Yes, guide booklets for a walking tour are provided at no cost. They may be picked up at the security desk when you enter the building. Brochures describing the preservation are also available. Books about the restoration and artwork are available for purchase through the Trust or at the Fort Wayne History Center.
Cell phones and cameras are NOT permitted in the building during business hours. You are welcome to have your cell phones and cameras during privately hosted special events in the evening and on weekends.

The Courthouse Green was created as a passive park from which visitors can appreciate the beauty of the Courthouse. Events are not permitted in the park.
The Courthouse rotunda is available to all Allen County offices for news conferences. However, all offices MUST receive prior approval from the Allen County Commissioners’ Office.
